1. How soon will I receive my merchandise?
You will usually receive your order within 3-5 days from the date it was picked up from our warehouse for delivery to you by the freight carrier. Although most items are in stock it does not mean they can ship within 24 – 48 hours. Many of them require careful inspection and extensive packing. We understand that you are eager to receive your new furniture, but we feel protecting your investment is just as important. Most orders are actually delivered within 14 days from the date you placed your order. We are constantly receiving container shippments from our overseas factories, so please allow up to 8 – 12 weeks on some items..
2. When does my credit card get charged?
Your credit card is charged the full balance at the time your order is placed. This will assure delivery of your confirmed order, as the item is removed from our inventory balance at this time.
3. How do you prepare my merchandise to prevent damage?
All merchandise is inspected prior to shipping, and the inspector's number is placed inside each box. .The vanity or kitchen island is put inside a box, and the top and sides are wrapped with styrofoam sheets. The unit is then put inside a double wall “A” Grade corregated cardboard box and then that carton placed in a wood crate on a pallet, and securred with black strapping.
4. Does someone contact me prior to my order shipping out and what can I expect from the freight company upon arrival?
Our shipping department will email you 24 hours after your package has shipped with your tracking number along with the carriers phone number and website, so you may track your package as well as contact them to set a delivery appointment.
5. What should I expect from the freight company when my package arrives?
The freight company will deliver your vanity to the rear tailside of the truck, as close as possible to your front door or garage of your home. If you require additional handling (inside delivery, for example) this is not included in the shipping price . You will have to request the additional handling directly with the freight company and pay the additional charge directly to them. Please make all necessary arrangements to assist with the delivery of your package.
6. What do I do if my merchandise arrives damaged?
In the unlikely and unfortunate event that your merchandise arrives with damages, please note the damage on the delivery ticket and contact us at once. You must fully inspect your delivery upon arrival and note any damage on the delivery ticket. Please do not refuse delivery of the entire shipment due to damages to the top, sink or minor damage to the vanity or base. ONLY refuse a shipment if you have major damage to your shipment. In accordance with UCC (Uniform Comercial Code) law, and ICC (Interstate Commerce Commission) rules and regulations, title to the merchandise passes to the consignee upon our delivery to the common carrier upon their pick-up at our warehouse. Customer agrees to file any freight claims directly with the carrier in the event of damage on receipt, and agrees not to file a credit card chargeback in this event. We will assist you in any manner to expedite the claims process, and will at your request, assist you in filing a claim for recovery of costs so as to enable us to re:ship your replacement merchandise as quickly as possible.
7. Can I change the free granite top that came with my vanity?
Of course you can! We have found that many of our customers actually purchase our vanities with the intent to replace the top as soon as it is installed. With the huge choices of granite, marble, composites and other materials available, it is impossible for us to offer a top that would satisfy everyone. Some customers would like to match either the floor or wall surfaces with the same material top. Your plumber or installation contractor can remove the Black complimentary top that is shipped with your vanity, and replace it with one of your choice.We offer different upgrade granite selections that you can purchase for our Arlington collection.. All Homecraft vanities ship complete with a Black granite top & white undermount sink. The reason we ship our vanities to you with a FREE top already installed is to provide structual rigidity to the vanity cabinet in shipping, and as a convienience to those customers who want a functioning unit right out of the box. Just install your faucet set and you're all done.
8. What is your return & cancellation policy?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Homecraft purchase, simply return the product to our warehouse within 7 days from the date it was received, in the exact condition it was received, for a refund subject to the following terms and conditions: Special Item orders are non-cancellable. All other orders are not returnable after 7 days from receipt under any circumstances.All the original packing material, inner carton, and outer shipping crate must be included and returned in it's original condition. There is a 25% restocking fee, and you will also be responsible for our shipping costs incurred in getting the product to you, as well as the return freight to our warehouse. This 25% fee will also be charged for all orders cancelled within 90 days of order date. Orders not shipped after 90 days from receipt of your order date may be cancelled without incurring any cancellation fee. Only if we incorrectly shipped you the wrong item, will we replace the incorrectly shipped order at our expense, at no charge to you, including all freight charges for the return to our warehouse. Please call our office for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) if you wish to return any product. Orders returned without an RMA will be refused by our warehouse terminal.
9. Do your products really look as good as the picures online?
Better! Digital photographs are great, but an online picture simply can't do justice to the beautiful, rich finishes and detail that our products contain. Our vanities are mainly constucted of the finest hardwoods and exotic furniture grade veneers. Due to the variances in woods and finishing techniques, and the inherrant variances in production lots, slight color differences are unavoidable. All dimensions indicated on our product descriptions are approximate, and allow for clearances and variances in production and design. We have strived to fully describe all our products as best we can, and also please understand that different computer monitors will display the colors and finishes in slightly different intensities and hues.
